From the Devon beach to the countryside.
Having had a great time photographing Labradoodle fan Alex and rugby loving Ollie during their engagement shoot at the beach, we knew we were going to have a lot of fun as their Rockbeare wedding photographers. The sun came out and off we went!
We started, as ever, in a relaxed documentary style with some excitable bridal prep coverage at home, then off to St Gregory’s Church in Seaton for a lovely ceremony. Much confetti later we arrived at the gorgeous Rockbeare Manor for the rest of the day.
Rockbeare Wedding Photographers.
Rockbeare Manor is a very well maintained and run grade I Regency house, built around 1760 and set in 100 acres of countryside. And what a great day we had there! The kind of weather that everyone hopes for allowed a relaxed, fun, outdoor afternoon- complete with ice cream and games. Then everyone headed inside for a set of heartfelt and hilarious speeches that had everyone shrieking with laughter.
Early evening gave us some beautiful low sun and we made the usual switch from documentary wedding photographers to portrait photographers for a short while- exploring the best locations at Rockbeare as Alex and Ollie enjoyed a quiet moment or two to themselves.
The Evening Party.
Back to ‘as it happens’ and we were off for bouquet throwing, shot downing and some excellent dancing. All in all a wonderful day out with a great couple!
