Jonny and Leonie- Wedding Photography at The Deer Park in Devon

Hot Off The Press

Catch the Spring 2020 edition of the glorious Wed Mag to see Jonny and Leonie’s absolutely incredible day at The Deer Park in sumptuous print. But first, what did they think about their wedding photography? Here’s what Jonny had to say shortly after receiving their photographs:

Hi guys,

Thank you SO much for these, we are absolutely thrilled with them!!! We sat down together yesterday morning to have a look through and it’s safe to say we got a bit emotional! You captured the day perfectly, thank you – the love, the happiness and the little details.

We knew we had made the right choice having you both but you nailed it, we have photos which we’ll cherish forever.

You’re both masters of your craft and it was a pleasure having you there on our special day.

Thank you,

Jonny and Leonie xxx”

Leonie and Jonny started their journey with us with a pre-wedding Getting To Know You photoshoot on the beach. It was one of those evenings where you’re not sure what the weather is up to, which is perfect, actually, for gorgeous skies and atmosphere. We got on so effortlessly, that time totally ran away with us; it was GORGEOUS! While we were strolling and casually making art with these stunners, people were making the most of the early Summer vibes with BBQs, cricket, and even a few people after my own heart, going for late evening dips in the sea.

While we worked, we chatted about about their upcoming wedding day at the absolutely perfect Deer Park Country House; how they were excited for their outdoor ceremony amongst the Summer flowers, the breathtaking orangery with the twinkle light ceiling and the sheer amount of space you have to make the most of the most beautiful day of your life.

Not even a bridesmaid with a broken leg dampened spirits – if anything, her pulling donut-turns on the dance floor in a mobility scooter brought the funny factor! It was photographer meltingly hot, all day long, but we didn’t care about the sweat pouring down our backs (don’t even get me started on what it did to my hair…). We were having way too much fun revelling in the emotions, the juicy details freely offered during the Best Man’s speech, the insane golden light we got to play with during the portraits, and finally, the totally lit party.

We went on a journey with the warm, funny, vivacious and welcoming Jonny and Leonie, and we loved every second of it.
