HAVE YOU WORKED AT MY VENUE BEFORE?
It’s more than likely. It doesn’t matter if not though. We’ve photographed weddings in so many varied locations- woodland clearings after long hikes and ruined castles with no roof (in the rain) to the grandest of country estates- and we’ve loved them all.
We always arrive early on the day to check the location and start planning some shot ideas too, so nowhere is ever unfamiliar.
WHAT IF OUR CHURCH CEREMONY IS DARK?
Not a problem at all. Professional camera bodies and fast prime lenses make darker environments very straightforward to photograph, while retaining the atmosphere in the images.
CAN WE ADD ON MORE HOURS OF COVERAGE?
Of course! Whether you need an extra hour or two, or you want us to stay until the last person leaves the dancefloor in the early hours of the morning, we can be there.
DO YOU COVER…
Absolutely. Just because we’re documentary wedding photographers doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate exactly how much time, effort and love you’ve put into all the little details that make your day unique. Those details reflect your personalities, so they’re key components of the day and the story.
Of course. Unless you don’t want to! The more formal shots are wonderful keepsakes for other members of the family. Rest assured that we work efficiently through this part so that we don’t disturb the natural flow of the day, or keep you or your guests away from the action for too long.
ARE YOU FULLY INSURED?
Completely, and we’re happy to forward our insurance details to your venue should they ask for them.
DO YOU HAVE BACK UP EQUIPMENT?
Of course. We have a huge amount of professional equipment and back ups in case of problems.
WHAT IF I’M NERVOUS IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?
That’s the beauty of this style of photography- you can enjoy your day and forget we’re there, and we’ll photograph you doing it. If we’re spending a short amount of time on something like group photos, or couple shots, we’ll take you somewhere a little quieter and gently direct you where necessary. We’re very friendly in any case and photographing people is what we do.
You could also consider a couple shoot before the day. We meet up somewhere pretty and wander around chatting and making photos together. It’s a great way to get to know each other and it’s really nice to capture that moment in time. Our gallery from these shoots is here- Pre wedding photography.
